Jerry Lawler, who should always be remembered as the guy who wrestled Andy Kaufman and then slapped him on David Letterman, suffered a heart attack live on ‘WWE Monday Night Raw’ last night in Montreal. And since this is WWE, they just panned the camera around so you couldn’t see paramedics giving him CPR 10 feet away from the ring.
At the beginning of this video you can hear a heavy breathing or wheezing, the sound you make when the Grim Reaper squeezes your heart with his icy claws of death. After that you can only see a few glimpses of Lawler (edited zoom here), and then Kane choke slams Daniel Bryan onto Darren Young for the win.
The LA Times says Lawler is in serious but stable condition at a local hospital, but doctors in the ER are optimis… hey, wait a second, that’s not a doctor, it’s Triple H! He was disguised as a doctor! Now he’s setting Lawler up for a Pedigree! He’s got the cover! Triple H wins!
