Aww this sucks

Obviously the big movie release today is the JJ Abraham’s take on “Star Trek”, but “Terminator: Salvation” is less than two weeks away, and today Warner Brothers released a 4-minute trailer (see it here), confirmed the rumor that Arnold Schwarzenegger will appear in the movie via digital sorcery (more here), and director McG explained that he’s clearly gay.

Director McG tells SciFi that he only cut one shot in Terminator Salvation to earn the PG-13 rating. The quick cut involved a character “stabbing a screwdriver through the shoulder” of a thug. (And) what about that much talked about topless scene featuring Moon Bloodgood? McG claims that in the end “it felt more like a gratuitous moment of a girl taking her top off in an action picture, and I didn’t want that to convolute the story or the characters.”

Yeah the Terminator movies are pretty serious business. You don’t want to sully the third sequel to a movie about killer robots from the future by showing a hot girl taking her top off. I’m trying to watch the movie where sentient robot motorcycles launch themselves out of a 10-story robots foot, and, then, what is this … tits? C’mon. That kind of shit really pulls me out of the story.
