Jessica Simpson was on the CBS Morning show today to talk about the nominations for the 44th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, her first interview since she got all fat, but you didn’t really think they were gonna talk about that, did you? Us magazine says…

Simpson didn't directly address the hype over her new curves. But she said she was happy after anchor Maggie Rodriguez mentioned all the support the singer has been receiving from fans.Rodriguez then told Simpson she looked "absolutely beautiful.""Honestly, I am right where I'm supposed to be. I am so happy,” Simpson said. “Right now I'm on tour with Rascal Flatts, having a blast. Everybody's just been so warm and welcoming. Lots of hugs, I like that … Texas style. Everything's really great. It's all about keeping the faith. That's why I pray out loud."

Wow this Rodriguez is quite the reporter. She really got to the bottom of this one. Maybe tomorrow she can talk to Rihanna about her cat. He thinks he’s people!
