Kim Cattrall has posed topless in an effort to somehow save some picture. None of this makes an ounce of sense, but she posed in a recreation of the painting "Diana and Actaeon" by the Italian Renaissance artist Titian. I can't stress enough how her recreation looks absolutely nothing like the original. Not in any way, even mildly or by sheer coincidence is there any parallel whatsoever. And somehow this is supposed to save the picture from being sold. The Mirror says…
The Sex and the City star stripped in a campaign to prevent a classic work by Titian being sold abroad.British-born Kim, 52, posed in a photo version of the painting, Diana and Actaeon, to raise awareness. The original canvas is one of two being sold for £100million by the Duke of Sutherland. He has given the National Galleries until December 31 to raise half the money to buy it from him and keep it for the nation.Top British artists have petitioned Downing Street to save the painting. The photo including Kim – by artist Tom Hunter – will be featured tonight on BBC2's Culture Show.Kim said viewing the original painting is "like being in the presence of genius". She added: "It would be a tragedy if it were not on public view."
This is actually kind of amazing. Kim’s tits are absolutely awful, they’re terrible terrible tits, and yet the power of tits is so mighty, they may even save this priceless work of art. But probably not. If all it took to save things was to look at pictures of tits, I could have brought the dinosaurs back before I even turned 16.
