People magazine says that Pam Andersons much publicized strip show last night at the famous Le Crazy Horse saloon in Paris went well. At least as well as it can go for a 40 year old stripper.
Anderson sported a sheer black body stocking and made her stage bow on the back of a motorcycle in front of 500 enthusiastic fans. "She was great," gushed one observer of her one-night only performances. (Anderson did two shows, and both were sold out.) "She was totally into it – it was impressive. And the crowd responded very warmly." Though the Crazy Horse specializes in presenting topless dancers, "It's a celebration of women," says Anderson. "It's done very respectfully, very classy, and it's a wonderful show for women as well as for men." It's also wonderful for the Crazy Horse, because Anderson says she did the show for free. (Tickets just to get in were around $300 per person.) "This isn't for money," said Anderson. "It's just for the love of the art, and the Crazy Horse does it best." Still, she noted, "They have to cover their costs. They flew me over here. And I am very high maintenance."
Whatever. That shit sounds boring. Respectful nudity? If people wanted that they'd go to museums. Pam seems to think all nudity is the same, like you would be allowed to stare at naked boobs for hours while fondling your crotch at the Getty just like you would at a strip club. Take my word for it, you're not. In fact they seem to really really hate that.
