Aretha Franklin headlined one of the best performances at last nights Grammy’s (video after the jump), mostly awesome because she's joined at one point by a guy whos name might be Madison Bumblebee. Oh that's right. Madison. Bumblebee. I'm gonna get a fake ID with that on there immediately. The old black musicians are the best because the good ones all have names like Madison Bumblebee and Barbecue JoJo Johnston and Peek-A-Boo Jones. But of course the star here is Aretha. She still has an unbelievable voice, and I wish my arms were that big. Also she gets points for dressing like the Sun in a pre-school play and getting this strained look on her face when she sings. You half expect her to step away to reveal that she just laid an ostrich egg.
