LEDGER WAS NAKED, FACE DOWN

TMZ says that representatives for the Ledger family are adamant that Ledger did not take his own life and Heath Ledgers representative went further and referred to his clients passing as an "accident" in a statement to People:

"We are deeply saddened and shocked by this accident," said publicist Mara Buxbaum in a statement. "This is an extremely difficult time for his loved ones. We're asking the media to please respect the family's privacy and avoid speculation until the facts are known."

Us magazine has a quick rundown of what has now been confirmed by Paul Browne, the Deputy Commissioner for Public Information of the New York Police Department.

The deceased was discovered by a masseuse and a housekeeper at approximately 2:45 p.m. today.The masseuse was there for a regular appointment.The deceased was found in his bedroom.The deceased was lying on the floor, curled up, at the foot of his bed.The deceased was naked and face down.There were not pills found scattered around the room as had been previously reported.There were some prescription bottles, including prescription sleeping medication, uncovered.

Hmm.  A masseuse.  Naked.  Bedroom.  Pills.  A kick ass New York apartment.  They probably should have made this death sound less fun.
