KIEFER IS GOING TO JAIL

People magazine is breaking the news that Kiefer Sutherland will be sentenced to jail within the next few hours.

Sutherland, wearing a black suit and tie, arrived at a downtown L.A. courtroom 15 minutes early for his 3:30 (pacific coast time) sentencing hearing. The actor, 40, previously agreed to serve 48 days in jail for his second DUI conviction and violating probation.

48? This judge has no sense of irony. I think people would like the legal system a lot more if it was funnier. Like Paris Hilton should be sealed up in a cave with komodo dragons, because I heard she doesn't like komodo dragons. Something like that.
