The ABC news magazine "20/20" is investigating the NBC news magazine "Dateline NBC", specifically the series called "To Catch a Predator". The "Predator" series follows an internet sting operation attempting to catch suspected pedophiles. Esquire magazine has claimed producers tried to manipulate Texas police officers into arresting a D.A. who killed himself when confronted by police and Dateline cameras at his home last year. NBC is facing a $105 million federal lawsuit filed by the man's sister. The Hollywood Reporter says:
Murphy, Texas police chief Billy Myrick, who approved the "Dateline" investigation setting up shop in Murphy and conducted the operations, had been interviewed by a crew from "20/20." An ABC News spokeswoman confirmed that "20/20" was working on a piece about the case and "Predator." She said it hadn't been scheduled for air and declined to talk about any other specifics.
Oh boo-hoo. Some pedophile killed himself. If I could I'd raise him from the dead and then kill him again. Is this some big loss to society? He couldn't even rape a little kid right. Little kids are stupid and weak and he still couldn't get one into bed. How embarrassing.
(speaking of attacking the competition, I can't believe the guy below is on TV and I'm not. so humiliating)
