LA County Sheriff Lee Baca is once again being accused of giving preferential treatment to Paris Hilton after her parents jumped the line to visit her in jail yesterday.  People.com says:

One visitor to the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles said she waited more than four hours – as opposed to the usual two – and blamed the Hiltons for the delay.Another visitor said she was asked to leave the jail's visiting room soon after her husband walked in because of the Hiltons. She was told to return after lunch.Hilton's younger sister, Nicky, and ex-boyfriend Stavros Niarchos were also accused of jumping the line when they visited Paris on Saturday.Mary Tiedeman, who monitors jails for the ACLU, told the AP Hilton is being housed in an area usually reserved for high-security inmates or those with severe health problems: "I don't know what her health issue is, but you have got to have a pretty intense medical or mental health problem to be in that part of the jail."After visiting his daughter Tuesday, Rick Hilton told reporters: "She's very scared." Added Kathy: "It's tough in there. It's cold."

My god.  Cold?  I'm not sure I want to live in a society where our convicted criminals are chilly.   She's gonna be a ticking time bomb when she gets out after this kind of abuse.
