Before being sentenced to 45 days in jail last week, Paris Hilton told Harpers Bazaar magazine that she’s a victim of her fame and gets in more trouble than a normal person would because she’s so attractive. Paris says:
"I think I get in more trouble because of who I am. The cops do it all the time. They'll just pull me over to hit on me. It's really annoying. They're [the cops] like, 'What's your phone number? Want to go out to dinner?' "
The New York Post adds:
Since the sentencing, Hilton, her mother and lawyer have all claimed she was singled out because of her notoriety. But Jeffrey Isaacs, chief of the Criminal Branch of the L.A. City Attorney's office said, "This was well within the judge's discretion and more than just, She could've got 90 days." Stan Goldman, a former defense lawyer and law professor at Loyola Law School, said, "Two weeks is a reasonable estimate of what she'll serve."
I'm gonna go out on a limb and suggest that cops aren't pulling over Paris Hilton because she's so pretty. But that's how Paris sees the world. It's all about her. A cop could pull her over and ask about the hair and brain matter stuck in her bumper and Paris would remember it as, “um, yeah he said I had pretty hair and his wife didn't matter cause he was gonna dump her."
