PARIS HILTON NEEDS A LIFT

Paris Hilton left the Virgin Megastore in West Hollywood last night at around 10:30 and was quickly stopped by the police for driving her $200,000 2007 Bentley Continental GTC convertible down Sunset Blvd without turning her headlights on.  When police ran her license, it was discovered she was driving with a suspended license.  Its not clear if her license was suspended after her arrest for driving while intoxicated on September 7, 2006.  Paris’ was not arrested last night but her Bentley was impounded.  TMZ says:

Paris' publicist, Elliot Mintz, tells TMZ the heiress was exiting the parking structure which "is brightly lit so she had not noticed that her headlights were not activated." As she drove a few blocks, she was confronted by other bright lights — those of the L.A. County Sheriff's Department … According to Mintz, "If (her license was suspended), she was not aware of it."

In Paris’ defense, I do this same thing all the time.  Not only do I drive with no headlights, but I put on a blindfold and stomp the gas.  It makes it more exciting!
