BRITNEY HAD A PERFECTLY GOOD REASON

February 21, 2007 | celebrity | editor | 0 Comments

For about 5 minutes this weekend, there was a rumor that Britney was all set to claim she shaved her head as a show of solidarity because someone in her family has cancer, but then everyone remembered that this is the same chick whose kids are sitting on the floor somewhere staring at their watch and stacking boxes while that bottle of formula sits on the counter just out of reach.  Family is a distant second to cigarettes for Britney.  Jayden should hide in a McDonalds bag if he wants any face time with his mom.  And now, OK magazine says the real reason Britney shaved her head is because, just hours before she did it, soon-to-be ex-husband Kevin Federline threatened to have her drug tested as evidence she is an unfit mother.  OK says:

"They had a huge argument.  Kevin threatened Britney that he was going to have people test her hair to find out exactly what she’s been up to. She was so scared. That was what made her have her head shaved."

Us Weekly adds that, after Britney shaved her head Friday, she showed up at the Mondrian Hotel in an electric blue wig.  She was refused a room and was reportedly seen shaving her legs at the pool and crying.  Us says:

"She didn't have any credit cards, she didn't have any cash … I don’t even believe she had any I.D."

So wait, you can just hang out at the Mondrian by the pool in an electric blue wig, shaving your legs and crying?  They let you do that?  Well that's good to know.  Now I have two places to do it!
