Lindsay Lohan has yet to thank the limo driver who returned the bag filled with over 1 million dollars in diamonds that Lohan left lying around inside Heathrow Airport on September 8th. Tom Webster, the driver who found the Hermes bag stuffed with jewelry, says Lohan's representatives promised him a reward or a thank-you note, but he has yet to receive either. Webster says:
"They haven't gotten back to me. Not a word. She seems like a nice girl and she was pleased to get the bag back – it was full of diamonds and bracelets and necklaces. But it's really disappointing. I'd like to hear from her with maybe just a 'thanks very much.' Her people took my address and phone number and said they'd be in touch. I know these stars need a good looking-after, but she could have easily just spoke to me on the phone."
Instead of being embarrassed or apologetic, Lohan's publicist Leslie Sloane Zelnik went on the offensive:
"I will look into that matter, but I wonder why they'd call a newspaper and not just call me. I think they obviously want free publicity using Lindsay's name."
Yes Leslie, that must be it. You’ve cracked the case. That son of a bitch ran to the papers just one month later so he could dish that Lohan seemed like a nice girl. This guys a cold hearted machine, only thinking of himself. If only there was some way this situation could have been diffused, BUT HOW?!?
