A source tells Page Six today that Alec Baldwin was a "total bastard" and a "tyrant" while working on "The Girl's Guide to Hunting and Fishing". Co-star Sarah Michelle Gellar is said to have been "very professional and hardworking", but Baldwin’s famous temper made life miserable for everyone during the production. This is in stark contrast to Gellar telling reporters recently how much she liked Baldwin and enjoyed working with him. The source says that was simply PR:
“She hated that he was always telling the director what to do and calling the shots about everything – and that he was constantly on the phone with his lawyer screaming at the top of his lungs and cursing. Sarah thought it was unprofessional. To top it all off, Alec doesn't like her. He thinks she's a pushy primadonna."
It would make the movie a lot more interesting if Sarah would just say all the really horrible stuff. I’d probably go see it then. No one wants to hear how generous Alec was and how he gave her a playground as an actor. She should tell the papers that he would hunt bald eagles and make hobos fight for money. Now that’s how you promote a movie!
