Michelle Rodriguez will serve 60 days in jail for violating her probation after being arrested in December on suspicion of drunk driving in Honolulu, for which she served five days in jail. Rodriguez was on probation after pleading no contest to charges of hit-and-run, driving on a suspended license and driving under the influence of alcohol in 2004. As part of her sentence, she will also serve 30 days of community service with the Sheriff’s Department, the Mothers Against Drunk Driving victim impact panel and the LA County hospital and morgue. She will also have to complete an alcohol education program. Her sentence will begin May 31.
Movies on cable have taught me that women’s prison really isn’t that bad. In fact it’s kinda sexy, and the worst thing that happens is being seduced by a girl with too much eye liner. Obviously I think sexual assault is wrong – except in cases of self defense – but Michelle’s idea of fun is to get liquored up and endanger everyone around her, and you’re probably gonna have a tough time upsetting someone like that.
