Meredith Vieira to Replace Katie Couric – just one day after Katie Couric announced that she will be leaving ‘the Today show’ to anchor the CBS Evening News, NBC has come to terms with ‘the View’ host Meredith Vieira as her replacement. Vieira will begin in mid-September of this year. Oh, the excitement.
