Naomi Campbell is in trouble

Some pictures now of supermodel Naomi Campbell being led away in handcuffs yesterday after her housekeeper accused her of assault. Campbell seems pretty relaxed for someone with a history of violence, who now stands accused of bashing her maid in the head with a BlackBerry PDA. And she would seemingly face more charges if this account from the New York Daily News is accurate:

“You fucking bitch!” the cantankerous catwalker shrieked yesterday inside her Park Ave. penthouse apartment, accusing her maid, Ana Scolavino, of stealing a pair of $200 Chip & Pepper jeans, sources said. Raging, Campbell cracked the BlackBerry against her housekeeper’s head at 8 a.m. – and then demanded her staff tell cops the 42-year-old maid had hurt herself falling, sources said.

Ever the criminal mastermind, Campbell denied the accusation, and showed the police her flip phone, not the BlackBerry, as proof. The BlackBerry in question has yet to be found. Also yet to be found is why it takes four NYPD officers to arrest one model. Naomi may be the toughest one getting an enema two hours before the Prada show, but I’m pretty sure I could still tuck her in for the night with one punch.
