Arrested Development on Showtime? – the Hollywood Reporter is saying that ‘Arrested Development’, recently cancelled by Fox, may find a home on Showtime. Sources stressed that the talks are still exploratory and that it would be a big financial commitment on Showtime’s part to pick up the show in its current form with a large ensemble cast. Not to mention the sheer pandemonium it would cause at Showtime if someone actually watched one of their shows.
The Poseidon trailer is online – the teaser trailer for Wolfgang Petersen’s remake of ‘the Poseidon Adventure’ arrived online this morning. It’s hard for me to be objective here, since I wrote a script that’s kinda sorta similar, except mine has sharks. You hear that Hollywood – sharks. People love sharks. And to give you an idea as to what life will be like if you bought it, I’ve drawn this eerily accurate glimpse into the future!
The Da Vinci Code trailer is online – I hate giving any credit to the French for anything but Audrey Tautou is unbelievably cute. And she looks it here, playing the character whose name I can’t remember. This looks pretty cool, but it maybe should have come out faster. By now, most people know that the “facts” it’s based on are so horribly mis-represented, there might as well be a scene where Tom Hanks is rescued by Batman on a Pegasus.
