Courtney Love is delightful

The New York Post says today that Courtney Love is broke and wants to raise cash by selling the song catalog of Kurt Cobain and Nirvana. She is said to be asking for 100 million dollars. She may or may not have put her pinky to her lips and cackled when she set the price. Love has supposedly lost weight and is sober these days, but that’s probably cause she’s broke. Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic famously fought Love for control of the catalog, but lost. How that could be is still kind of baffling to me. I know she claimed to be Kurts muse, that her talent inspired Kurt, but comparing Courtney Love to Kurt Cobain is like comparing IBM’s Deep Blue computer to that chicken at the state fair that plays tic tac toe.
