Nick Lachey is just about done

MSNBC is reporting that Jessica Simpson wanted to throw her husband Nick Lachey an extravagant 32nd birthday party last week, but had her plans quashed by none other than Nick. She wanted a lavish event to “show Nick how much she loves him and wants to make things work between them,” but that idea was quickly shot down. “Do what you want,” he told her. “But leave me out of it.”


The end result was a small gathering with his family at an upscale Cincinnati restaurant on Nov. 10, then a toned down party the next night with friends in LA. Not on the guest list apparently: Jessica’s parents or Ashlee. Reps still claim life is bliss, but sources tell Life and Style magazine:
