Jake Gyllenhaal is wild

Jake “I’m ordinary in every way” Gyllenhaal admits he was once arrested for stealing a pair of Speedo’s. He says he was dared by a friend to try on a racing suit and then walk out of the Speedo store at the Beverly Center in Los Angeles, but he was quickly stopped by mall security. Says Jake:

“A friend of mine dared me actually, at one point, to go into the store and to put on a Speedo and to walk out of the store in the Speedo – steal the Speedo and leave my clothes behind. I walked out and I was arrested by the Beverly Center cops. It was really serious for them; they don’t see much action. It was a big moment for all of us.”

Oh man, does that ever bring back memories! All the times me and my buddies would giggle and dare each other to get scantily dressed and then catwalk around in public in a romp that would lead to certain arrest. Oh wait. No, it doesn’t. Was coming out of a dressing room dressed like that not close enough for Jake to have his epiphany. Did it literally have to be a closet.
