SCIENTOLOGY COULD HAVE SAVED ANNA NICOLE

March 2, 2007 | celebrity | editor | 0 Comments

John Travolta says that if Anna Nicole Smith had followed the teachings of Scientology, she’d still be alive today.   Travolta claims Smith could have been rescued from her drug addiction if she had followed Narconon, the rehab treatment plan based on the teachings of Scientology and L. Ron Hubbard.  Narconon is a cold-turkey method of detox, followed by six levels of “life-improvement” courses.  It is extremely controversial and critics have long questioned its safety and effectiveness, to say they least.  Scientology claims a success rate of 75-85 percent – a stark contrast to most rehabs who claim a 25-30 percent success rate – but have never provided any documents to back those numbers up.  Travolta says:

“It’s so sad.  We could have helped her with Narconon but didn’t get a chance to. I wish we had.”

I think a Scientology rehab would be exciting!  It would be just like you were still stoned.  You could file into an auditorium and there would be a big silver "spaceship" on stage and then a big ramp opens up and a big dinosaur lookin thing with a silver X across his chest and silver belt and boots comes out and he says, "people of Earth, we are here to help you."  And then maybe he could dance or something while they shoot some laser lights and play the Star Wars cantina theme.   Look at that alien go!  How does he do it!

Now that's how you kick addiction!
