Lindsay Lohan Was Beaten

Lindsay Lohan spoke about her time banging Russian trust fund douche Egor Tarabasov, and has now revealed that he physically abused her. You should really never blame the victim. Yet sometimes it’s helpful to question whether the victim is actually a victim, or if someone is being falsely accused, hence making them the victim. You shouldn’t blame them either way. Although, fuck them both. It’s unclear who’s really taking this seriously. This may mark the first time Gloria Allred or the people at the battered women’s shelter shutter their doors. You get the feeling Lohan watches a lot of E! and picks up on a few trends: According to Lohan: 

“I feel I was used. It is the first time I am in such a relationship when I was beaten, it is painful for me. I don’t want it, I am not a victim, I am a strong person. I should have stopped it when the first signs came. But it is very hard for me to say goodbye. I feel quite uncomfortable about the last few months with Egor. Would you feel normal with bruises on your legs? That was really hard for me. For some time I was thinking he was a good man. I feel ashamed to confess that my logical mind switched off. I used to say “forgive me” the next morning because I wanted to have peace. This is how I became one more beaten woman who is scared to confess it.”

You had bruises on your legs before you met him. Can someone cross reference this with the dialogue of Lifetime movies aired in the past few months. Lohan later goes on to complain about him having less money than she anticipated:

“He does not have money. What could I do? We lived in my home. I paid for everything. His father paid for many things, but mainly I was paying.”

So put another way, he paid for a lot of shit with his father’s money and you paid for some shit yourself which you’re not used to doing? Sounds traumatizing. She also says she paid for her own engagement ring, which cost over $200,000, meaning she’s a vein idiot. Maybe he wanted something more in the 50k range, since he’s such a broke loser? Victim blaming remains uncool. False accusations, grey area.
