Lady Gaga Ain’t No Fucking Madonna

If you work in Accounting, nobody ever peppers you with how your work is reminiscent of Fred, our former Payables clerk. Musicians are forced to listen to reporters and critics compare them to artists that came before them. It’s invariably something overly obvious. Then the pissed off egomaniac artist has to smile and say how much they love the icon being mentioned but how they’re different.

A dude on a British radio interviewing Lady Gaga compared her to Madonna, because they both had hypercritical fathers and overly inflated white girl problems. Gaga took a couple seconds to think about how to say Madonna is a musical fraud in a polite way:

Madonna and I are very different. Just saying. We’re very different. I wouldn’t make that comparison at all and I don’t mean to disrespect Madonna, she’s a nice lady, and she’s had a fantastic huge career, biggest pop star of all time. But I play a lot of instruments. I write all my own music. I spend hours and hours a day in the studio. I’m a producer. I’m a writer. What I do is different.

It’s completely different. Other than a few of Gaga’s songs which were clearly ripped off from Madonna pop classics, albeit Madonna didn’t write them originally herself. Who wants to be compared to that crone offering sloppy head to fey Manhattanites for promising to vote for Hillary?

Gaga went on to explain how that “nice lady” is basically a shill who spends her time rehearsing for big stage routines over pre-recorded tracks. While Gaga is an artist:

There is spontaneity to my work. I allow myself to fail. I allow myself to break. I’m not afraid of my flaws.

Yeah, easy going, sister. Let’s see how you’re riding at 58 still trying to be relevant. You might be taking up the bookings with Madonna’s current team of plastics experts. And you may find your campus rape songs replaced by simplistic auto-tuned ditties for the kids. Everybody in entertainment has foreign adopted baby mouths to feed. Respect your elders.
