Carmelo Anthony Goes Out a Winner

Carmelo Anthony played in this weekend’s gin soaked All Star Game and then promptly decided to sit out the rest of his season. One might ask why Melo would be able to play in an exhibition game and not those which count against his team’s record. Conventional wisdom says the All Star Game has more viewers than a home and home series against Milwaukee and Carmelo is more interested in building his brand than breaking a sweat. Your team has the worst record in the league. Perhaps if you have the energy for only one more game it should be the one directly preceding or following this one. NBA contracts are guaranteed. Having Munchausen is not a detriment to your bank account. Try not attending class and showing up for the talent show. You’d be escorted off the premises. In this world you sit court side in a suit you endorse. Great work if you can get it and then not do it.
