FINALLY THE TRUTH ABOUT THAT SCAR

For years Tina Fey has been hounded by questions about the long and prominent scar on the left side of her face.  Fey has always refused to answer, but now her husband has told Vanity Fair the whole horrific tale.  The Daily News says…

Tina Fey has finally revealed how she got her signature facial scar – and it's pretty ugly.The 38-year-old comedienne was attacked by a stranger in a violent slashing incident when she was five."It was in, like, the front yard of her house, and somebody who just came up, and she just thought somebody marked her with a pen," Fey's husband, Jeff Richmond, says.Fey says she doesn't like to rehash the incident because "it's impossible to talk about it without somehow seemingly exploiting it and glorifying it."But, she adds, she's never felt unattractive because of the scar: "It's really almost like I'm kind of able to forget about it, until I was on-camera, and it became a thing of 'Oh, I guess we should use this side' or whatever."

The amazing thing is she made it 5 years before someone stabbed her in the mouth.  I could never even make it through one Weekend Update without it crossing my mind.  If anything we should be applauding this guys restraint.
